Organs-on-chips are great tools to model in vivo tissue physiology and complexity incorporating flow. I have been working with this technology for over 2 years now, and it is fascinating! The technology allows controlled manipulation of experimental conditions, and has major applications in disease modelling, drug transport studies and also in personalized medicine.
