AxoSim’s Nerve-on-a-Chip is the first 3D model of the nervous system to deliver clinically-relevant data to predict clinical outcomes prior to costly human trials, addressing a major disconnect between preclinical testing data and clinical trial outcomes. Employing breakthroughs in biomaterials, tissue engineering and stem cells, the patent-pending platform replicates living human biology in both form and function. The unique ability to measure a drug’s effect on nerve conduction and histomorphometry unlocks the potential to understand mechanism of action faster and more accurately than animal testing.

I founded AxoSim in 2014 and am very passionate about the potential for organ-chips to change global healthcare. Supporting the next generation of scientists is critical and I want to help the effort in any way possible.
